A WEEKEND COTTAGE
This charming cottage is finished in lapped cedar boards and heavy wood shakes; the trim colours are a deep, rich brown and there has been some discussion regarding accents of stained glass in the upper-floor windows. There is a trellis design over the garage droos, and a fish-scale pattern of siding above, adding texture and interest. The effect is charming yet rustic, refined yet simple.
