Some initial revisions to this contemporary villa design, situated on a steep, wooded bluff overlooking Lake Michigan; the reception rooms now feature a wide terrace with expansive views over the trees and the lake beyond. There is a ‘floating’ staircase positioned before a glass wall at the entrance, and a chef’s kitchen for entertaining. Garages have been added along the approach as an effective screen element from the street; the house is set back some distance for greater privacy.
