Expansion of the original one-storey model (with three bedrooms) now includes a two-storey design with large gables as shown; there are now two (2) primary suites on the first floor, and guest/smaller en-suite bedrooms upstairs. Some further development of the elevation continues, with adjustments to the fenestration, et al. The roof slope has increased as well, to provide a more substantial feel and appearance from the street.
This design includes a basement, with stairs directly accessible from the central hallway. Dependent upon local ordinances and/or other conditions, a plan without a basement may be preferred (eg, central Florida). Provision has been made for this option, with furnace and water heater located on the first floor.
